Come read, Laugh with me!
COOL
No, Queenie Pie will not be bred. She hasn't reached a year old yet. So on her next heat we will be breeding her. I want to find a Chocolate male to put her to. So that there is a chance for chocoate/tans and black/tans in both solids and piebalds. I think that would be a fun litter. I have not decided if I want to find a stud for her or if i want to invest in another male. I am not sure how King Louie would like having another boy dog around. Afterall he thinks he's the "King".
I don't want a lot of dogs. I want to keep the quality time, and personal attention there. If I have too many, I fear I cannot be as attentive as they would need me to be, which is why I still don't know about getting that Chocolate male for Queenie.
I do have pushing need to find another dog though. I need a guard dog. Sham, my big dog, is officially retired. He has lost a mojority of his hearing this last couple of months. Vet says he is just old. He has also lost some eye sight, and has some other health issues that have developed this last year. It has come on so fast, I know he isn't younge anymore, I am just shocked at how fast he got old. He will be turning 13 this November 25, right around the time Paiges litter is due.
Good old dog, who used to hear me in the drive way didn't even notice I was home. I came in, put down my groceries and he was sound asleep in the front room. He didn't move a muscle. He didn't wake up till one on the kids when to love on him. He woke up and then looked at me with a huge smile that said "Hey, your home!"
He is such a good boy!
And I got caught rambling... As I was saying..... Nope, no puppies for Queenie pie this time. She is not happy beind secluded, but I do put Paige with her so she is not alone in a cage. Poor baby, she just doesn't understand. She and Louie are best friends and she just doesn't get why she can't play with him. Her heat is almost done, and she can be with her best bud again.
